Choosing a BERG pedal go-kart comes down to one question: which frame fits the rider. BERG makes its karts in frame sizes, each with an age guide. We stock five karts across three of those frames, from €299.

These are BERG's own age guides. They overlap, so a five-year-old is inside all three. In the overlap, go by height and by who else will ride: a small five-year-old is better on a Buddy, an average one on a Rally, and if a parent or older sibling wants a turn, the XL is the only frame that takes an adult.
If you are unsure, tell us your child's age and height and we will say which kart fits.
What BFR means
BFR is BERG's hub: pedal forwards to go, brake by pedalling back, and reverse. Of the karts we stock, the XL B.Pure Blue BFR carries it in its name. For the other karts, check the kart's page on the shop or ask us.

Why only five karts
BERG's catalogue is much wider than this. We list only the karts we hold in stock in our own Irish warehouse, so every kart shown can be delivered within 48 hours.
Delivery and returns
Go-karts ship free to Northern Ireland and the Republic and are delivered within 48 hours. BERG's manual covers assembly. Returns are accepted within 14 days; the customer pays the return delivery. See the delivery page.

What age can a child start on a BERG pedal go-kart?+
Of the karts we stock, the Buddy starts youngest: BERG's age guide for it is 3 to 8 years.
Should I buy the bigger kart so my child grows into it?+
Only if they can reach the pedals and steer comfortably now. The age guides overlap on purpose, so a child in the overlap can go either way. Tell us their age and height and we will say which frame fits.
What does BFR mean on a BERG go-kart?+
BFR is BERG's hub that lets you pedal forwards, brake by pedalling backwards, and reverse.
